How much does Chatty cost?
Chatty has three plans, billed monthly in rand with no setup fees. Starter is free and covers bookings, reminders and the shared inbox for up to 50 bookings a month. Growth is R 499 per month and adds retention tools, review routing and unlimited bookings. Pro is R 1,299 per month for multi-location and high-volume businesses.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Starter is free for solo operators: one WhatsApp number, the shared inbox with AI replies, and bookings with automatic reminders for up to 50 bookings a month. It's a real plan, not a trial — upgrade only when you outgrow it.
What about WhatsApp's own message charges?
Chatty runs on the WhatsApp Business Platform, where Meta charges a small per-conversation fee for certain business-initiated messages, such as reminder templates. What that adds depends on your monthly volumes — for most small businesses it's modest, and we'll walk you through a realistic estimate for your numbers during your demo.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Yes — plans are month-to-month. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, and there are no setup or cancellation fees.
Do I need a new phone number to use Chatty?
No. Chatty works with your existing business WhatsApp number, so your clients keep messaging the number they already know.
